In Sanskrit, the crown chakra is called Sahasrar, which means thousandfold.
The seed of this chakra is located at the top of the head and cerebral cortex.
A heathy crown chakra gives us greater access to our innate wisdom and knowledge. It helps to keep expanding our consciousness and spiritual connection. The main concerns of this centre are awareness, self knowledge and the basic right to know.
The element is THOUGHT.
To be in harmony here we need to identify with the larger universe and our place within it and to develop our connection to divinity.
Deficiencies include learning difficulties, spiritual skepticism, materialism, apathy and limited beliefs.
The demon of the crown chakra is ATTACHMENT.
Attachment has a way of narrowing our focus so that it becomes impossible to realize and unite with cosmic consciousness.
Spiritual challenges include fuzzy mindedness, inability to remember things, loss of faith, and disconnection from God / Source / Divinity.
AFFIRMATIONS
I have a right to know the Divine.
It is safe for me to connect with Spirit.
